NACDS Foundation Executive Fellowship

The NACDS Foundation Executive Fellow works collaboratively with healthcare and research professionals on projects that enhance patient care and improve health outcomes. Through this one-year program, the Executive Fellow develops skills in project management and design of innovative patient care research studies, among other skills.

Medical Communications Fellowship Program

MedVal Scientific Information Services, LLC and PharmaWrite Medical Communications, LLC are jointly offering a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship in the medical communication industry beginning July 1, 2020. The program includes a teaching component and the opportunity to acquire a teaching certificate through the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (PCP), University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. 

The fellow will share his/her time between MedVal/PharmaWrite and PCP.

UCB Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) Fellowship Program

UCB is focused on the discovery and development of innovative medicines and solutions to transform the lives of people with severe diseases. This program was established in 2017 with a vision to grow top regulatory talent for the future. The fellowship, a collaboration with IPhO, is a 2-year rotational program located at UCB's Atlanta campus. The rotations through the various sub-functions of Regulatory Affairs aim to improve the Fellow with exposure to and experience with all aspects of Regulatory Affairs, as well as, internal, global, and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) exposure. The Fellows will also have an opportunity for a 4-month elective rotation in an area outside of Regulatory to gain additional insights from the outside in. During the rotations in Regulatory Affairs, the Fellows will be assigned to work with the Regulatory Science Lead for one or more compounds, including pipeline and marketed products, ensuring that the chosen project will provide the greatest learning opportunity.

Graduates will be qualified to pursue career opportunities in government, academia, and the pharmaceutical industry.

AbbVie/Pharmacyclics/KGI Medical Affairs Hematology Fellowship

Pharmacyclics is committed to the development of commercialization of novel therapies intended to improve the quality and duration of life and to resolve serious unmet medical needs for cancer patients. Pharmacyclics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AbbVie (NYSE:ABBV), a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company. This program has exciting PharmD/MS Fellowship opportunities. The training programs in health economics, outcomes research, and policy each combine the resources of a leading academic center for pharmaceutical economics and policy with dynamic, real-world training of major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies recognized for their commitment to innovation. 

Post-Doctoral Fellow in Health Care Policy

This fellowship will provide post-doctoral candidates with the opportunity to address the policy implications of: a) the changing health care landscape and assessing value in this new environment, b) public concerns about affordability that threaten sustained innovation, and c) the appropriate role and use of evidence. The Fellow will be expected to conduct a policy-related research project and will have opportunities to interact with thought leaders and key stakeholders in the nation's capital and at Duke University. Applications are now being accepted through January 15, 2020.

Drug Information Fellowship Program with Belmont University

There are currently two fellowships in partnership with local healthcare corporations, Aegis Sciences Corporation and HealthTrust. The programs focus on drug information with additional emphases on academia at Belmont, toxicology at Aegis, and corporate management at HealthTrust. Upon graduation, the fellows are uniquely positioned to obtain employment in an academic, corporate, or managed care role with the comprehensive drug information skills so desired in all pharmacists today.
